Designed for tubeless tires, the wider hookless rim allows lower pressure for less rolling resistance and more comfort. Pair it with a 28mm tire for the best balance of speed and ride quality. Zipp’s Total System Efficiency (TSE) tackles key performance killers: wind, weight, rolling resistance, and vibration. The hookless rim design also makes the wheel lighter and more aerodynamic by creating a smoother tire-to-rim transition. The 454 NSW rolls on Zipp’s premium ZR1 SL hubset with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement—now 30 grams lighter than the previous model.
