  Includes:
  1x Left-Hand Ice Scratcher
  1X Right-Hand Ice Scratcher
  2x M8 x P1.25 x 25mm Flange Bolts
  2x Bushings
  Installation Instructions:
What you need - Drill - 11/32" drill Bit - 9/32" drill bit
Step 1) First you will need to locate a suitable position on your rear suspension rail. The location must be free of moving components like rear suspension springs and idler wheels. It is also required to make sure the rail is clear of moving parts where ice scratchers will hook during storage and reverse.
*An ideal area is near the front of the suspension rail, just before the arc of the rail.
*** Warning*** If the scratchers are mounted too far back it will cause the snow/ice to fly behind the sled, not onto the track defeating the purpose of the scratchers
If you need to drill continue to step 2. If you do not need to drill go to step 4.
Step 2) Drill a 11/32" hole into the suspension rail for the bolt to go through
Step 3) Drill a 9/32" hole into the suspension rail approximately 53mm in front of the 11/32" hole and slightly below it. This will ensure that the spring will have the required tension during operation and storage.
Step 4) Slide the spring onto the collar/bushing
Step 5) Install the collar onto the suspension rail using the 11/32" mounting hole that you have drilled into the rail.
Use the supplied bold and thread into the collar from the inside of the suspension rail. The preload tab of the spring should be inserted into the 9/32" hole.
Step 6) Tighten the bolt as needed. ***Warning*** Be careful not to over tighten the bolt and strip the threads in the aluminum mounting collar.
During operation be sure to position the ice scratcher in the up/storage position when loading or backing up.
